Back to School...

It's been two weeks since Brady and I have both started back to school (work), and things are going great so far. Every morning when we drop him off he still cries, but his teacher says he stops within 5 minutes and does great the rest of the day. When I pick him up he doesn't want to leave! We had such a great summer together, but I know it is a good thing for him to be back with other kids learning and playing.

I have a good group of students this semester, as well as a new principal that I really enjoy working for. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be my long days, because Coach Sheppard and I have decided to rotate days for afterschool softball conditiong. It's a great solution and allows each of us to be with our children a little bit more. Daniel is in his last semester of school and we are counting down the months until graduation time! I am so very proud of him and the progress he has made. The Belmont program has really been great for him.

I have FINALLY gotten back into running, and it feels great! Daniel and I will be running in a race on September 17th called the Warrior Dash. It is a 3.1 mile race with various challenges along the way. Some of the obstacles are running through muddy ponds, climbing walls, etc. Our goal is just to finish it!

Here is a little of what we have been doing lately. The next time I post a blog, Brady will be a TWO YEAR OLD!!!

Brady's first experience at the Wilson County Fair...

Brady's newest friend, Colson. They love to play together. Colson's mom is a teacher at my school so we took the boys to the football game Friday night. They were feeding each other and dancing whenever the band played. Brady and Colson also love riding cars together!
