Daniel Graduates!

It has been a hectic two and a half years with Daniel back in school.  I am so very proud of him for getting this degree.  I won't lie or sugarcoat it, we had our ups and downs throughout this journey.  Daniel was told in the beginning that going through the Belmont MBA program was about like having your very first child, very difficult!  Leave it to Daniel to have his first child and start the MBA program in the same semester!  There were many nights where I felt like I was alone and angry, but we worked together to get through it.

I think Daniel and I were truly made for each other.  Those of you that know Daniel are aware that it takes a special person to embrace his "high energy level".  Also, I'm not your typical female.  I have learned to go with the flow a little more with DC, or else I might go insane.  However, his crazy qualities are part of the reason I love him so much.  I truly believe that we balance each other out.  It is also my belief that those qualities are what make him stand out in the crowd.  Well, that and the red hair of course.  Also, these trademarks are what make him a successful father, husband, Thompson Machinary Territory Manager, pilot, landlord, and now a graduate with an MBA.

What will be next?  Auctioneer License?  FBI?  Law School?  Promotion?  Sports Announcer?  These are all things I have heard before.  Maybe my turn to go back to school...  Who knows, but I'm sure enjoying the ride so far.  Mark my words, Mr. Daniel Clark Jr. will have something in the works for 2012.  Until then, I'm going to kick up my feet and encourage him to do the same.

Before closing, I have to add that Daniel has been a wonderful father to Brady through it all.  I know that he is so excited to spend more time with him now that he is through with school.

I am not one who openly brags about her husband all the time, but today, I must give credit where the credit is due.  Congrats Daniel, I am so very proud of you!
